Resistance, wattage and draw

VOOPOO Argus Klyc handles both styles depending on the cartridge and coil. The 0.3 to 3 Ω resistance band marks the limits of the choice.

With a coil above 1.0 Ω and the airflow closed down it works as an MTL device for nicotine salts. With a coil below 0.5 Ω and the airflow open it becomes a lung device that needs a low-strength liquid. The 5 to 30 W range covers both cases.

That flexibility is a real advantage, but it needs a deliberate decision. Trying to run both at once, low resistance with strong salt, gives the worst of each.

What the battery gives you in practice

1350 mAh in VOOPOO Argus Klyc is good for a working day. The figure only makes sense alongside the coil. The same battery lasts twice as long on a tight draw as on an open one.

In practice the spread is wide. Draw tight and sparingly and you get through the day; draw open and hard and you will not. Charging is over USB-C, 5V/1.2A (40 min full charge).

Charge rate often matters more than capacity. A small battery that charges fast beats a big one that charges slowly.

The right cartridge platform

VOOPOO Argus Klyc uses Full ARGUS Pod Family. That is the detail that decides a repeat purchase, not the model name.

Coil life is usually one to three weeks. The flavouring sets the pace, not the device. When the taste first goes flat and then turns bitter, the coil is finished and rinsing will not save it.

Firing is automatic on the draw. For anyone coming off cigarettes that is natural handling, because the motion stays the same.

It measures 100.6 × 29.7 × 17.2 mm. This is a jacket-pocket or bag device rather than a shirt-pocket one. If you want to carry it discreetly, look at a compact model.

At ~70 g the device sits noticeably in the hand. That is not automatically a fault: some mass reads as solidity and slips from the fingers less often.

Matte surfaces barely take skin oil and rarely need wiping; gloss looks better on a shelf and carries visible marks within two days.
