VOOPOO pod systems, cartridges and coils

Argus holds almost everything that is not a pure box mod. VOOPOO Argus G2 and Argus G3 lead demand, Argus G3 Mini and Argus G4 Mini cover the compact shape, and Argus P2 is the slim MTL branch with a tight draw for nicotine salts. Above them sit Argus Pro 2 and Argus Matrix: more battery, more watts, a tank instead of a push-in cartridge. The word Argus alone tells you little; the letter after it decides.

Drag is the family for people who want to adjust. VOOPOO Drag X3 runs on a removable cell, not included because in transport it counts as dangerous goods; Drag 5, Drag 6 and the E60 models have a built-in battery and charge over USB-C. Drag 6 tops the range at 220 W, while Drag H40 and H40 Pro cover the compact branch on the same control logic. Almost nobody uses the peak figures: they describe the circuit, not everyday use.

Alongside the two big ranges VOOPOO runs three families with a clear profile. Vinci sits between compact pods and large mods, and its airflow ring lets you find your own draw without changing coil. Doric is where the simple devices live, with no screen and often no button at all. Vmate is the most consistent MTL line in the range, with a deliberately low wattage ceiling because past 30 W an MTL coil has nothing left to give.

The consumable part is never the device, it is the coil. A cartridge lasts one to three weeks in normal use; heavily sweetened liquids clog it faster than tobacco or menthol. The PnP platform runs through much of the Drag range, ITO serves Doric and several compact devices, and PnP X, despite the name, is not interchangeable with original PnP. Own several devices on one platform and you get by with a single stock.

A device that stays at home because it will not fit a pocket simply does not get used. The compact branch is built to sit in a shirt pocket without announcing itself: Argus G3 Mini, Argus G4 Mini, Vmate Mini and Drag H40. What you give up is runtime, not vapour quality, because flavour comes from the coil rather than the size of the shell, and compact models run the same platforms as the large ones.

MTL means taking the vapour into the mouth first and only then inhaling, exactly as with a cigarette. Technically that is a narrow airway, a resistance between 0.8 and 1.4 Ω and 10 to 18 W. This build is almost always run on nicotine salts, because salt stays smooth even at twenty milligrams where freebase at the same strength scratches. Too low a strength at the start is the most common reason people go back to the pack.

A colour name says less than you would think: the same tone reads calm in matte and noticeably brighter in gloss, because it reflects light instead of scattering it. Matte surfaces barely take skin oil; gloss carries visible hand marks within two days. Every variant on the site has a photo of the real unit rather than a recoloured stock image, because for gradient finishes that is the only honest way to do it.
